A word to the wise.

If you make yourself a set of blocking wires, and a nifty PVC pipe capped on both ends to keep them in, if you don't open it for a couple of years, the caps will. not. come. off.

At least, nothing I've tried yet has worked.  Any ideas?

Hmm... Maybe a vice and pipe wrench, or two pipe wrenches...you know brute force... or you can cut through pvc with string. Good Luck!

Oh, I'm afraid I have no idea. But lots of sympathy! Good luck.

What are you blocking? Or, wanting to block?

I was trying to block a swatch for Bad Cat Design's Summer Sampler Study from 2009. I've had the pattern for a long time, and just finally figured out what yarn I want to use for it. lol

I ended up using 32 T-pins for a 5 x 7 swatch. Sigh. But, with the steam iron and a strategically-placed box fan, I had a measurable swatch within 20 minutes. :o)
