Hello... nice to see you back. Did you have a good week? Thanks for your kind words on my shawl... I love it! I've hung it up in my room and I stroke it every time I walk past. Need to find somewhere to wear it!
You asked about winter... to be honest, here in the south-west of the UK we don't get hard winters. It will drop just below freezing at night for a few weeks, but below-freezing days are quite rare, and we hardly ever get more than half an inch of snow. I have a lemon tree growing in a pot in my back garden! I suppose it makes life easier, living in a temperate climate, but at leat once every winter I wish for one proper fall of snow like I remember (only once or twice) from childhood - the sort you can actually dig and tunnel into, and sledge on. They get it in the north of the UK regularly, but I'm a soft southerner!
